The Chelsea manager made it clear that he is enjoying life at the moment when questions about taking over Barcelona were put to him.
However, Maresca did suggest that anything can happen in the future.
He told The Telegraph and other outlets ahead of the Barcelona game: “You know me because you are always in my press conferences. Even when you ask me what’s happening in three-four months, I always say ‘I don’t know’.
“At this moment, I’m very happy to be at this huge club, again one of the best clubs in the world, and this is the most important thing.”
Maresca also discussed Estevao Willian and Lamine Yamal, two of the best young players in the game right now.
The Chelsea and Barcelona stars could go head-to-head when Hansi Flick’s men arrive at Stamford Bridge.

Whether Maresca leaves Chelsea for another team today or next year, he cannot be criticised. After a year and a bit in charge, he has made the Blues a serious outfit again.
Chelsea are second in the Premier League table, just two points behind the leaders Arsenal. Right now, Chelsea look like title contenders, or at least seem to be better equipped to challenge than Liverpool, for example.
They also won two trophies last season, the Club World Cup and Conference League, and finished fourth.
