Barcola pushing to leave PSG for Liverpool over frustration at lack of playing time – reports

Bradley Barcola is pushing to leave PSG for Liverpool due to frustration over playing time, according to French outlet L’Équipe.

The 23-year-old winger rejects being considered PSG’s fourth option in attack and has officially refused to extend his current deal.

Barcola has agreed in principle to join Liverpool after productive transfer discussions with Spanish manager Andoni Iraola and club executives.

His frustration stems from constantly sitting out Luis Enrique’s starting lineups in PSG’s biggest fixtures, including two Champions League finals.

Although early club-to-club talks reveal a valuation gap, Barcola remains adamant that his future belongs on Merseyside with Liverpool.

PSG are reportedly willing to sell Barcola for around £140 million.
