(Video): New Chelsea manager seen mocking Winger in the most ridiculous manner

Chelsea fans online noted that new manager Liam Rosenior, who was watching from the stands, reacted to a horrible cross from Pedro Neto.

Some have made a real meal of his reaction, claiming that he’s “mocking” the winger. That’s obviously silly. You can see he’s saying to his sporting directors that he doesn’t want the winger unsure about whether to go inside or out.

Neto is a player most effective when he works on instinct. When he’s left as he is here, unsure what the right move is, he doesn’t thrive. Rosenior will be talking about how he can put the winger in a position to succeed, not criticising him.

You can see him react in the clip embedded here:

Neto could be set for spell out of the team after another poor showing

As for Neto, we wrote yesterday that we’re as tired of him as a lot of fans. Some good goalscoring form has masked some generally really poor play from him this season.

If Cole Palmer continues to play on the right wing, that puts Neto in competition with Alejandro Garnacho on the left wing, and if he keeps playing like this, we can only assume the Argentine will win that battle, even though his crossing has been dreadful too – and he’s not even able to score either.
