BREAKING: Soon to be Chelsea new manager jets in to beging talks

Liam Rosenior has flown to London for talks about becoming the next Chelsea head coach.

The Englishman is manager of Ligue 1 side Strasbourg, who are run by the BlueCo consortium that also own Chelsea.

Rosenior emerged as the leading candidate to succeed Enzo Maresca as Chelsea head coach soon after the Italian’s departure was announced on New Year’s Day.

Standard Sport understands he has now flown from Strasbourg to London alongside club president Marc Keller and sporting director David Weir ahead of talks to discuss the possibility of becoming the new permanent Chelsea head coach.
