Sanchez is widely regarded as Chelsea\u2019s no.1 and has been for the majority of the campaign so far. The former Brighton man\u2019s entire Chelsea spell has been littered with mistakes, but he has improved of late.<\/p>\n
However, on Wednesday night, Sanchez endured a dismal display. The Chelsea Chronicle gave Sanchez a rating of 2\/10 for his performance against Arsenal, with Sanchez clearly at fault for two Arsenal goals.

He was caught under the flight of the ball from an Arsenal corner, which saw Ben White score. Then, he fumbled a low cross and allowed Viktor Gyokeres to tap home. Filip Jorgensen played against Charlton.<\/p>\n

Up next for Liam Rosenior and Chelsea is a clash against Brentford, another London derby having already faced Charlton and Arsenal in his first two games. The Beeds are in excellent form under Keith Andrews.<\/p>\n
Brentford are solid from set-pieces, Chelsea are good at conceding them and once again, pressure will be on whoever is in goal to get it right. Speaking to Football Daily, Green thinks Sanchez will remain no.1.<\/p>\n
But he suggested he\u2019d rather Jorgensen: \u201cHe will stick with Sanchez. Look at how they\u2019re playing, they\u2019re looking to lure the press, they have the double pivot, they have the overload around their own goal.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut it was hairy at times. Sanchez didn\u2019t look assured on the ball. That\u2019s the difference. That\u2019s where Jorgensen can play. He\u2019s got shortcomings in terms of shot-stopping attributes and stuff like that.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut, playing out, all of a sudden it throws in a different dimension. These errors\u2026 [you have to ask] \u2018well what are you bringing to the party?\u2019 If you\u2019re going to cost us goals and not be able to play out as well.\u201d<\/p>\n
There is a third option that Liam Rosenior should consider<\/p>\n
It might not be a straight pick between Sanchez and Jorgensen, but it might also be a case of whether Chelsea opt to enter the market and look to bring in a new signing. Mike Maignan is a long-term option.<\/p>\n
But Milan are keen to keep him and reports suggest the Serie A giants have offered him a new contract. Then there is Roma goalkeeper Mile Svilar, who is a \u00a360m target for Chelsea, Tottenham and Man United.<\/p>\n
There have been a few hints that Rosenior could request a signing or two before the end of the January window. Facundo Buonanotte is leaving for Leeds and could need replacing, as well as a goalkeeper.<\/p>\n
Rosenior has a big decision to make for Saturday, however, and while fans may want to see Jorgensen given a go the chances are that he will stick with the more experienced Sanchez despite his poor form.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
