Report: Liverpool and Man United could be the lucky ones to sign this Bundesliga player
Liverpool and Manchester United have been given the opportunity to sign Bayern Munich defender Kim Min-jae this summer.
The 28-year-old central defender is expected to be sold this summer, and according to a report from TBR Football, he has been offered to several Premier League clubs. In addition to Liverpool and Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham have also been presented with the chance to sign him.
The South Korean has impressed during his time at Bayern Munich, helping them secure the league title last season. He could be a valuable addition for either Liverpool or Manchester United if they manage to finalize the deal.
Newcastle United is also interested in Min-jae.
Liverpool and Manchester United Seek Defensive Reinforcements
Liverpool is in need of more depth in defense. Joe Gomez has struggled with recurring injuries, and Jarell Quansah is not yet ready to start for a team aiming to win league titles and the Champions League. Min-jae could be a perfect fit for Liverpool, competing with Ibrahima Konate for a starting position.
Similarly, Manchester United has looked defensively shaky and could use additional strength in this area. The 28-year-old brings both experience and quality, and his physicality would suit the Premier League. His teammates have described him as a “really good” player.
